Vintage electronic tabletop LCD video game "King Kong" by Tiger. Very rare release and even harder to find this one boxed. A blatant Donkey Kong clone type game, with amazing art on the box and game console. Nearly all the Tiger LCD tabletops on the market today have broken screens due to a design flaw, which makes it nearly impossible to play. This game is no exception and screen is broken - the replaceable light bulb inside still works, the sound works, the controls work, but you cannot see which LCD sprites are turned on/off so you will be killed by unseen barrels. (please see last photo for how screen looks turned on) The box is tattered and damaged but still displays nicely, has the flaps but some are getting loose. The instruction manual is here luckily, it has a discolored spot on the cover and inside pages from what appears to be caused by touching a rubber foot on the bottom of game. Both batteries covers are still here, the "C" battery terminals have a minor amount of rust that doesn't affect the power flow. The game has original decal stickers (not replacements) and they are very nice, as well as the outer screen and control panel are all nice. The blue colored plastic may have some minor yellowing from age. So this is a good nearly complete boxed King Kong tabletop, but obviously not perfect. Sold as-is condition for parts and repair.
