Feast your eyes on this collection of around 600 vintage sleaze paperback book covers! To be clear - these are BOOK COVERS ONLY. Fresh from a California estate, a rare treasure that someone hoarded so many sleazy all-erotic book covers. Don't know what their goal was, but they were certainly diligent. Nearly all the book covers are from the days of 25 cent, 35c, and 50c priced paperbacks, although a few are older or newer. Most of the covers here are just front covers, often with a portion of the spine, and some still have the back covers attached. 
In the first photo the upper-left stack represents about 250 such sleaze covers, the upper-right stack represents another 250 covers, the lower-left bagged stack shows about 50 covers that have front and back sides (see second-to-last photo for examples), the lower-right bagged stack shows about 50 covers that were written by more mainstream authors (see last photo for examples). All the other photos here (#2 through #10) show a random sampling of what is contained in those 2 upper stacks totaling 500 book covers. The total number of paperback covers is estimated to be around 600, possibly a few less/more we didn't count them all. From looking at them they are mostly unique with some doubles, would guess 3% at most are doubles. 
The covers were ripped off the books, not carefully cut. Seems like they were ripped a long time ago, and thus many edges are chipped and uneven. Only a small percentage of them have price stickers/markings on them. They are dry and nearly all smell okay, if you went through them individually you would probably find a few that didn't pass your mildew/smell test. Please see photos for a random sampling. The erotica sub-genres are all over the place - nurses, french, westerns, drugs, mystery, noir, etc. The only thread of consistency seems to be that each cover (and/or plot) is erotic, containing a woman. Some of these are undoubtedly going to be rare titles, while others will be common. But what a collection, likely not seen before or again! Selling as-is, no returns, please ask questions if you need.
We don't know what a book collector would do with a covers-only sleaze hoard, but we can think of some possibilities:
use them for art.
use them for furniture (just add polyurethane).
use them for interior design.
use them for education.
use them as cards for a game.
use them with mats and resell.
use them for rare book restorations.
use them as they were intended to be used.
burn them.
