Award-winning calculator designed by Mario Bellini, this is the Olivetti Logos 9 from the early 1980s. At the time it was the world's smallest printing calculator (about 5 inches in length), as well as being Olivetti's first LCD machine. Back then calculators had either a display screen, or a printer, not usually both as in this design. Beautifully crafted, brushed metal surface, with a slide-out top which contains the printing mechanism. This one is in immaculate condition and looks like new, the only condition issue worth mentioning is a slight discoloration in the metal to the right of the logo on the front (probably just a factory blemish). The leatherette case and instruction manual are also in amazing condition, with just a couple dings on the back of the case. The calculator is untested, as it contains rechargeable batteries and I do not have a power adapter to charge it. There is one paper/ink cartridge installed inside but that too is untested. Very scarce vintage calculator, difficult to find in this condition.
