Vintage telephone from the late 1960s, still new in box! Comes with a fantastic zebra print, and is modeled after the well-known antique Danish style. This is a "decorator" telephone made in Japan, because it was manufactured outside of the United States they couldn't legally add all the internal parts to make it function on the US telephone networks. When you bought these, you were supposed to contact your local telephone provider and have the technician install the kit for a nominal charge. So keep in mind this phone will not function unless you install a "Western Electric" compatible kit. These decorator phones are rarely seen new in the box, this one was probably made for a Disney-esque themed hotel or restaurant.
